FAQ
To build a website, you’ll need to have copy, photos, and your brand visual assets. If you need a copywriter or a photographer, I can recommend some very talented pros. If you need your brand designed, we can combine that with your website design with a reduced rate.
Squarespace (I love it for all the easy add-ons available, like blogs and storefront functions and Showit (which I love for the design control it gives us to make a site that’s beautiful and incredibly customizable). We can discuss and decide which one is best for you
Yes! If you need your brand designed, I can combine that with your website design for a reduced rate, and with a longer timeline
Yes! I can work with your existing branding. We’ll simply add collecting those files to our list of assets we need before we get started. If you have a website already we will transfer your existing traffic and SEO to the new site, and we can also re-use any copy or photos that we think still accurately reflect your business.
No, your site will be hosted by Squarespace or Showit. You will need to open an account and I’ll move your site into your account to launch it. These platforms are both safe choices to handle hosting, security, mobile optimization, and readiness for future needs and new digital developments.
Most people like to be able to update their own sites, and I will provide training at handoff, access to quick video tutorials, and email support for 60 days after launch. If you do find that you want support from me to make changes, I’ll be happy to discuss options with you.
